I have lived in Florida since I was 7 (30 years). I want to move to the northeast but I am concerned that because my body is not used to the brutal winter weather up there I could be compromising my health. My almost 3 month old is spitting up like crazy!?

He's been on enfamil newborn, enfamil gentle ease, enfamil ar, and now they are trying him on nutramagin. I put 1 tsp of rice in his bottle and he didn't spit up for like 3 days, but then it started again. Now my pedi wants me to put 1 tblsp in each bottle. He was on Zantac and now Prevacid. He is for the most part a happy spitter, but he does straighten up and arch in pain after most feedings. But not near as bad with the meds. They don't want to do an upper gi yet. The reason it's a concern is b/c he's not gaining weight like he should. He spits up all that he eats! He was born at 7.13 and he's just now 10.10. He'll be 3 months on the 4th. They say he's in the 5-10% range and they'd like him to gain more. So if this doesn't work what will they do? Anyone have similar problems? What did they do?

What causes lower abdominal pain when bending?

I am so desperate for answers for my mother. I am a medical school student but I can't seem to pinpoint anything for her. She has had abdominal pain, especially when bending, for a couple of years now. When it became severe at the beginning of this year she went to the doctor and ended up having a hysterectomy. This has not helped at all. As soon as she recovered and stop taking post op pain meds the fierce pain returned. I should mention that she's had a normal CT scan (although I can't be sure it was properly read/interpreted). Also should mention that pain is somewhat relieved with a BM. If you this sounds familiar and you or someone you know has the same situation and have received a correct diagnosis PLEASE give me some ideas. The last thing I want is for doctors to give up and stick her with some cop-out diagnosis like "IBS" (though I realize that could be the correct diagnosis for some cases). She is not stressed and she certainly isn't a hypochondriac. Something's wrong and I'd appreciate any attempt to help me get the right answer. ANY idea is welcomed. Thanks!

I can read on a really high level. I am 16, but I read at a college level. So does it matter if I like to read books like Harry Potter or other kids books? It really depends on how much talent you have and how involved you are... if you go to a lot of auditions for TV shows and movies then you have a better chance of becoming famous sooner... this would probably take a lot of work though... and as for singing, if you have a lot of contacts once again it will take less time but otherwise you have to be really involved and get to know people in the industry. I think three years might be pushing it a little... but if you work really hard it's possible.

I had my period for just one day.?

i am overweight. my doctor suspected thyroid and PCOS, but i didn't have it. it was revealed that i had a smaller uterus. she gave me medicine for regulating periods. for almost 9 months the cycle was fine untill 3 months ago when scanty periods started again. i again got an ultrasound done which said that the uterus was normal but there were peripheral small follicles in the ovaries. however, this time the uterus size was called normal. i had this test done just before my period last month. Now the other doctor suspects PCOS. i didnt have my period this month and is delayed by almost 15 days. i am also very stressed out(almost depressed) these days because my parents have suddenly become non supportive in my career. i cannot pursue the job of my choice. in fact i was called back from Delhi just after finishing graduation and i was already getting good jobs there. an otherwise outgoing and free communicator, i have limited talking to my friends . my physical activity is also quite restricted these days. i get a few cramps every now and then, which makes me feel that i will get a period but that doesnt happen. otherwise, i get a 3 day period without any pain and almost negligible cramps. any suggestions? i doubt that PCOS is not really the case and this condition is because of my mental stress, change in the everyday pattern and physical inactivity. Hair growing under my skin thatnis not a normal ingrown hair?

so there was this hair above my right knee that was literally growing under my skin. it was about 1 cm long and it didn't have a bump like a normal ingrown hair. i picked at it a little near the base point of the hair to try and get the hair out but i was very unsuccessful. then there was a tiny cut in my skin fro where i picked at it so i put a band aid on it for the day. the next day(today) i picked at it some more to try and get it out and i noticed a little white spot around the follicle that looked like puss. so i squeezed at it and what looked like puss came out along with the long strand of thin hair. then another strand of really thin hair came out(i think the one hair split into two which is why they were so thin) and i plucked it out. then i noticed that there was still a white dot down there and i squeezed at it a little but nothing came out so i figured it would be best just to rinse it off and leave it alone. so i put it under the faucet but it stung every time i put it under running water. i then put neosporin on it and covered it with a band-aid. when i was squeezing the puss out it made me think of a guy squeezing out a parasite on animal planet and now i think i have a parasite...even though it was probably just a weird ingrown hair that got a little dirt in it and had some puss. um, do i have a parasite? did i do the right gross thing? am i dying?

Some of the holes are offset from the pipes by almost 2 inches and it's very hard to get my arm in there and maneuver it, so I'm afraid I won't be able to just seal it with joint compound (The cabinet is fixed in place, under the sink). I could do duct tape, but I imagine they'd chew through that pretty quickly. Any suggested alternatives? Maybe I could repel them somehow?

My cousin who I was very very close to until the past few years, got arrested on felony drug charges while on probation last week, released on bail, and then called my aunt (her mom) to inform her she is going on the run because there is a very real possibility of her facing 5-10 years. My aunt is very secretive about family issues, and I didn't know my cousin was in trouble until a few minutes ago. Apparently, about a year ago she got arrested, and was facing grand larceny charges along with minor drug charges. She got lucky and the big charge got dropped, and she was put on probation for the drug charges instead. With this recent arrest, her grand larceny charge was brought back up, so she is in very serious trouble right now. Now that's bad and all, but the reason my aunt told me about all this is making me rip my hair out. My cousin called her from a different state today to inform her she is trying to make it out here to MY HOUSE to lay low for a while. My aunt was so ashamed to tell me about all this, but she wanted to give me a heads up on the situation. So now she is trying to cross multiple state lines. And on top of this fact, my fiance has been on probation for the past 3 years for getting arrested 2 times in a row. He is less than 3 months from being off probation early for good behavior. Those arrests and his brief time in prison were a major wake up call to the both of us. Right after his second arrest, which was much more serious charges than the first, I stopped taking with my cousin entirely. I just couldn't risk getting caught up in her crap and loosing the man I love, so I got clean with him and grew up. She went off and apparently went nuts. Now she is a fugitive on her way to my house. Yes she is the girl I used to play with as a child, but then again, this is my life and my almost husband she could f-up. Letting her stay would not only mean putting myself at risk for harboring a fugitive, but if my fiance got caught up in this mess, it would mean SERIOUS trouble for him, possibly even reinstating his charges. If my cousin makes it here, she is not the type I can quietly turn away. And she could possibly still be on crack, which makes her even more out of control. I am not risking everything good in my life to let my dumba** cousin stay here. But I am afraid of what will happen if I turn her away. She could get violent or cause a big enough scene for the neighbors to call the cops and then I'd be up a creek for not reporting it. Mastiff hair in car?

We went of a road trip with our English Mastiff riding in the back of our SUV. Of course there was dog hair from him laying back there, but now it will not come out. Tape, pet lint rollers and vacuuming multiple times still have not made mush of a difference. Its like the hair has woven itself into the actual carpeting, and its sticking like velcro! We have even had the car detailed and the detailing people could not even get it out. well me (natasha baxter) and my friend (sophie pritchard) have been singing together for quite a while we started as a duo, we write alot of stuff as we both play guitar, when we complete one of our songs we'll play them to our friends to get their opinions on the lyrics and what they think about the song in general and like they know most of the songs we've written and always sing them, so they must like them. Well we are getting our demo made in January and we're putting tracks on it what we have written, i was just thinking should we like get in contact with the labels before going there with our CD or should we just drop it off there. Need help with a name for characters in my book?

I am writing a fantasy novel and having difficulty coming up with a name for this group of evil creatures. They ride horses and are hooded so nobody really knows what they are. The people believe them to be headless spirits from the underworld, which is basically what they are. Now to be honest, I would have to say that it's really not terribly difficult to get into BU. I got in with not the highest SAT scores and had a decent GPA. I as well had decent extracurriculars. Although trust me I think you should be fine. It's a good school but it's not the hardest to get into. The acceptance rating is 57%. I'm sure you will be able to get in. Besides you have junior year as well so make sure you do rather well junior year as well as the rest of this year and you should be fine. I am being completely honest. Good luck!

As far as I know, it's like other sports, so it just depends on the event - there are men's and women's singles/doubles (I think), and I know that they have 'mixed doubles' which is coed. Of course, it would also depend on whomever is running a competition; I ume the tournament directors could choose to have 'mixed doubles' but only women's and men's singles, for example (for whatever reasons).

How many Cichlids can we add this weekend?

We have a stable 29 gallon tank with 5 small (1.5-2 inch) Cichlids in it at the moment. We've had them for almost 3 weeks. We did have some issues and had lost a few of our original batch but have had the tank stabilized for over a week now. We want to add a few more fish to the tank. The ones we have will of course grow more, to about 4 inches but we have been told that we should overstock a tank with cichlids because they do better in such environment. So we where wondering how many cichlids would we be able to add this weekend?

Ok so i am with a girl im 19 she is 17. so this last week my girlfreind has has to show a steer in the fair. this year was a big year for her, her parents put pressure to do good cuz she was the oldest in the house. so she has been really stressed. so everything started out just fine but by the end of the first day her mom was upset that we were being to affectionate the family is LDS but she doesnt care for she just does it cause she is living with them. so her mom got after her that about it and the next time i went to hug her she kept moving away and saying not to even when her mom wasnt around then she started ignoring me the next day was the same thing and i started to get kinda worried thinking something was wrong so that night i asked her if the next day if we could have some personal time for us she said yes that we could for sure have it. so the next day after i had helped my step dad with laying concrete for a garage he is building i went over to see her i called her and told her i was coming over and i asked if she was busy she said no i got over there and her dad came and asked her to do some stuff with the steers. so i helped her with that and after we did what she was asked we sat down and i asked if we could have our time she said in a min well for the next 6 hours it was the same thing. things would come up she couldnt do it. so she went home to change for a rodeo that night and she said while we were there we would for sure we got there she did all she had to do then said lets go i said what about our time? i had only asked her for 10 mins of time to be affectionate. well she said sorry i just dont have time we have to get back to the fair. i got upset cuz i had heard the same thing all day. i lost my temper and got mad about it. so we went back to the fair i left for home she called asked if i was gonna shower then come back, i was upset still so i said why should i so you can keep treating me like you have and she said that if i came back watched a showmanship round her brother was in afterwards we could go to my house and talk well the time came we went we talked she told me off about how i had be more annoying then anything over the week i told her my part of how i thought something was wrong and i was trying to fix it she said nothing was wrong until i started to act like i did. after more talking about it she had to go back for the rodeo. so the last day of the fair i expected things would be going back to normal she wouldnt be so stressed and such. so she couldnt have her phone for the first part of the day, her parents said she couldnt cuz she had to show her steer to sell. so i went watcher her show her steer to sell and i watched her brother and sister sell theirs. so it had rained the night before and with the freshly poured concrete wasnt good so i had to go and help make sure the concrete would be ok and i ended up tking a nap. i didnt have much sleep this week cause i had been upset and couldnt sleep. if fact that is why im writing this at 4 in the morning. so i woke up and soon after i had woke up my girlfreind called me we talked she said whe went home and naped to and she was gonna head back to the fair. she lives 15 miles from town she said whe would text me when she got there she also said how her mom was "upset" with me and this made my day worse cause i have been worrying about us maybe breaking up all week knowing her mom hated me didnt help cause that might push it to cause us to break up. so she came back to the fair. so we texted and i asked her what the plan was for the demolision derby that night cause her mom might not want me to sit with them but i wanted to go and i wanted to sit by my girlfreind. she said she didnt know what would happen then a bit later in our texting she said she was gonna sit with her family. and after that she kinda stoped texting me so by this time it was getting close to the time the derby started i went over there found her, i called her a few times but she didnt answer me. so i found her and she was packing up all the steer stuff and the steers and when she was done i asked her if we could talk and she ignored me i waiting for a bit and asked her again and she snaped at me. i asked her if we could just talk for a minute she snaped at me again but walked outside. we talked she said that she was about sick of me cause the whole thing and she was getting really close to breaking up with me so after talking about the whole thing a bit me crying for fear of losing her. she means alot to me we have been through alot and i trust her enough to tell her stuff i have not even told my parents about bad past issues and so i told her about how i am really scared to lose her and i am trying my hardest to keep us together and all that well we went to the derby watched it and after her family went to eat i wasnt hunrgy so she walked with me to my truck so say buy love you hug and kiss, she said she would text me and call me before she went to bed so w
