I just want a cowboy?

Im still in high school & ive noticed all the country boys at school r either scared of horses or will have nothing to do with them but yet they wear bull riding champ belt buckles & have never set foot in a rodeo arena. cute right? ha & ive been barrel racing since b4 i started grade school cuz i grew up on a cattle ranch its all ive known & im just wondering, where have all the genuine cowboys gone?
