How can I ensure the goldfish stay alive during the carnival?

Goldfish are not the best prize, but if you must use them, keep them someplace dark where they will not get bumped and make sure they adjust to the temperature of the cooler first. if your are going to give them away, try useing brown paper bags so that they stay in a dark area. and ask people to pick them up right before heading to their car. feeder goldfish are pretty hardy and you can buy them for like ten cents. Please try to use a different prize though
