How long would it take to fix my laptop?

I just bought a laptop a while ago and the sound started to crackle and make strange static noises. i think the speakers are blown out... i still have the warranty with the company so i have to like mil my laptop to hp or something... how long would it take to fix that? i went to best buy but the girl said they didn't fix stuff like that there
