Question about badminton?

As far as I know, it's like other sports, so it just depends on the event - there are men's and women's singles/doubles (I think), and I know that they have 'mixed doubles' which is coed. Of course, it would also depend on whomever is running a competition; I ume the tournament directors could choose to have 'mixed doubles' but only women's and men's singles, for example (for whatever reasons).
