Where is a good place in Upstate NY to go..?

Harriman State Park (near Bear Mountain) has a lot of what you're looking for: a href="http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.asp?parkID=143" rel="nofollow"http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.a…/a It's not that far from NYC but it looks nice.
