Why do all parents today seem to believe that their children are made of gold? (Deeply annoyed!).?

All children ARE special. And I think you answered your question yourself, you really can't trust anybody anymore. You get reports of neighbors kidnapping and killing children. School teachers molesting kids, the world is a sick place. I'm not saying people should go out accusing random people of being a child molester but I am very protective of my son, he is the most precious thing in the world to me, as I'm sure other parents feel the same way about there children. Better safe than sorry.
